Now he's bored with it. I love this game. It's fun and mind stimulating, but it took my 6 year old son less 2 hours to solve all the games. I would recommend buying the older version, so you can buy the add-on packs.
I heard about this toy through our son's therapist and the next day I ordered it online. My son enjoys challenging himself with this and it's truly the best guilt free babysitter. Best purchase I've made. We have so many games, but this one takes the cake. We also love playing it together by taking turns as it is a one man show. Thank you ThinkFun, can't wait to try your other toys.
I had high hopes for this little game however the kids were quickly bored and the game will undoubtedly do nothing but collect dust for the rest of it's life.
He'd never seen the game or played before I decided to purchase it. I was looking for gift ideas for my 5 year old son. The moment he opened his gift from "Santa", it became an appendage. He enjoys problem solving games and puzzles-not to mention his love of motorized vehicles. Rush Hour was a perfect fit for him. Now my husband is and addict as well. Fabulous game.
In fact, we all were having fun with this simple but challenging logic puzzle game.What I like about this game:QUICK SETUP: Open it and get going within a few seconds. There are several small pieces that could be lost, but the nature of the game is such that even if one is lost, there are several others the same size that can play the same role. . This is quick and easy, but not so easy that kids don't get the opportunity to learn the value of setting up and cleaning up.COLORFUL PIECES: The cars remind me of the board games I played with as a child of the 70s and 80s. In hindsight, I probably would have been better off getting the full version, as my daughter is going through the cards quickly, but I have no regrets with this purchase at all. Cleanup is quick too. The bag still fits neatly inside the box should the box bethe better option for home storage.

Losing the ice cream truck might be a bummer, but even if that piece were lost the game would still be usable.NO LICENSED CHARACTERS: While I don't have big issues with Hannah Montana and Star Wars and Barbie and Batman and Sponge Bob etc. Most other things my daughter is interested in have so much to deal with she is bored before she gets started. EASY STORAGE: The travel bag is quick and easy to use to store the game or take it with you. etc., it's nice to find a great toy that has NOTHING to do with any of them.THE BOTTOM LINE: This is a perfect present for bright kids who are quickly bored by the usual toys for their age group, yet equally frustrated by toys intended for older children. I have not done so yet, but I intend to try the additional decks of cards that are meant for the adult version as I've read that they are compatible with this as well.
